The professional mentor will serve as a positive adult role model to eight youth, developing sustained, loving relationships by setting positive expectations, nurturing strengths, and ensuring physical and emotional well-Being. Responsibilities include teaching life and academic skills, providing enrichment, modeling responsible behavior, working one-On-One with children, and building trusting relationships with parents/Caregivers.

Requirements summary

Candidates must have a 2 or 4-Year degree, or at least seven years of progressive experience working with children and families in lieu of a degree, and must commit to a minimum of three years. Essential abilities include developing trusting relationships, working independently and as a team, managing concurrent issues, and maintaining first aid/Cpr certification.
