Cabin Counselor

The cabin counselor provides direct supervision to a group of children aged six to thirteen in a traditional day camp setting, ensuring their safety and adherence to camp regulations. This role involves guiding campers through daily activities, maintaining cabin standards, and supporting the overall mission and values of the ymca.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and possess current state-Approved first aid and cpr/Aed certifications, preferably with previous experience working with children in a camp setting. Applicants must also be highly organized and complete mandatory child abuse prevention training within the first two weeks of employment.
