Job description
- Autism Center of Excellence is hiring a Behavior Technician (BT) to join our Richmond, VA team.
- This role offers a consistent weekday schedule supporting pediatric clients ages 2–14 receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy.
- Behavior Technicians work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support communication, social, and daily living skill development.
- This position is ideal for individuals interested in psychology, education, behavioral health, or pediatric therapy who want meaningful hands-on experience working with children.
- Schedule
Monday–Friday Availability required between 8: 00 AM – 6:30 PM
Key Responsibilities • Provide direct 1
- 1 ABA therapy to pediatric clients
- Implement treatment plans developed by supervising BCBAs
- Support communication, social, and daily living skill development
- Collect and document behavioral data during sessions
- Follow behavior intervention and safety plans
- Collaborate with supervising clinicians and caregivers

Requirements
- Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required Certification
- RBT certification preferred but not required
- BT candidates will receive paid training toward RBT certification
Qualifications
- Experience working with children preferred
- Experience in ABA, childcare, education, or behavioral health is a plus
- Reliable transportation
- Professional, dependable, and compassionate
- Ability to pass required background checks
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
