The academic advisor is primarily responsible for serving enrolled and prospective undergraduate students by facilitating registration, major selection, retention, and monitoring academic standing. A master's degree in higher education administration, student affairs, counseling, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of three years of higher education experience in health professions, counseling, or advisement. Candidates must be comfortable with specific technologies like ellucian/Colleague and possess knowledge of learning strategies and academic success techniques.
