The resident will provide pharmaceutical care consistent with entry-Level practice, reviewing medication orders for safety and cost-Effectiveness, and interpreting clinical and pharmacokinetic lab data. Responsibilities also include serving as a primary source of drug information, participating in educational activities, and overseeing drug distribution processes.

Requirements summary

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited college of pharmacy with a b.s. Or pharm. D. Degree and must be eligible for connecticut pharmacist licensure. Hospital pharmacy work experience is preferred, along with demonstrated knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics, and excellent communication skills.
