Part-Time After School Behavior Technician

Behavior technicians will provide one-On-One applied behavior analysis (Aba) therapy in client homes, focusing on developing communication, social, behavioral, and daily living skills for children on the autism spectrum. Technicians are also responsible for collecting and recording behavioral data to track progress and maintain accurate documentation.

Candidates should ideally possess a bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or a related field and have experience working with children, especially those with autism or developmental delays. Essential qualities include excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and reliable transportation to serve clients across nassau and suffolk counties.
