Core responsibilities
The speech language pathologist assistant will create and deliver instruction to students aged 5 to 21 with intensive behavioral and teaching needs, utilizing applied behavior analysis principles. Responsibilities include providing evidence-Based treatment activities per the student’s iep to enhance educational performance, communication, and social skill development.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited program and hold a current, active state license for practice. Preferred qualifications include at least one year of experience as a pediatric therapist and beneficial background in augmentative communication (Aac), autism spectrum disorders, or developmental feeding.
