Core responsibilities
The registered behavior technician is responsible for providing applied behavior analysis (Aba) services to individuals to achieve significant change in their areas of need and behaviors under the direction of a bcba/Bcaba or lead rbt. This role involves developing effective plans for clients with challenging learning histories, primarily in an early intervention clinic setting for individuals aged 2 to 12.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma and either hold a current registered behavior technician (Rbt) certification or obtain it within two weeks of the hire date, agreeing to a one-Year commitment if certification is obtained post-Hire. Preferred qualifications include at least six months of experience working with children in an educational setting or with children with autism.
