Summer Camp Counselor

Counselors will supervise groups of children and implement various ymca activities, including group games, crafts, reading, and steam projects, under the direction of the youth development director. Essential functions also involve following standard operating procedures, promoting character development, serving as a positive role model, and prioritizing safety in all programming efforts.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old (18 preferred) and ideally possess a high school diploma or ged, or one to three months of related experience. Mandatory requirements include completing summer camp training from may 16th-23rd, obtaining cpr/First aid certifications within 30 days of hire, and adhering to abuse risk management policies.
