Licensed Physical Therapist FT

The physical therapist delivers comprehensive therapeutic services to autistic students with complex emotional-Behavioral needs to improve their access to the academic environment and maximize participation in school activities. Responsibilities include evaluating students, developing individualized therapy programs, and employing various strategies to address physical impairments impacting function and participation.

Candidates must possess a doctorate in physical therapy (Dpt) from an accredited program and have a minimum of one year of pediatric experience working with students on the autism spectrum or those with developmental disabilities. Required abilities include thorough knowledge of physical therapy principles in educational settings and proficiency with various evaluation tools and adaptive equipment.
