Early Childhood Teacher

The teacher is responsible for the optimal development and well-Being of children by planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum emphasizing learning through play, adhering to state standards and quality rating systems. Key duties include maintaining a stimulating environment, supervising staff and volunteers, collaborating on curriculum development, and engaging in parent conferences.

Candidates must possess an associate's degree in early childhood education or a related field, or a cda certification with equivalent experience, along with a minimum of one year of classroom experience. Required abilities include strong organizational, critical thinking, time-Management skills, basic computer literacy, and the capacity to interact effectively with diverse populations.
