Residential Treatment Counselors

Counselors are responsible for providing treatment, care, and assistance to children aged 5-13 in a residential behavioral healthcare setting, actively supervising them through all daily living activities. This includes implementing the agency's care philosophy, approved behavioral intervention plans, and maintaining the therapeutic structure of the unit.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma, and depending on the specific counselor level (Rtc i, ii), 1 year or 18 months of experience with children or special populations is required, along with being at least 21 years old. Driving is required for some levels, necessitating a valid license, minimum two years of driving experience, and a clean driving record.
