Employment Specialist- Fugett Intergenerational Center

The employment specialist prepares program participants for the job market by providing individualized counseling, coaching, and training workshops, and supports them post-Placement. Responsibilities also include collecting participant data, identifying employment opportunities, and building relationships with local employers to achieve placement goals.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged along with two years of related experience in workforce development, vocational services, or social services, including one year working with diverse or underserved populations. Demonstrated experience in event coordination, such as job fairs, is also required.
