Teaching Assistant - Residential

The teaching assistant assists teachers in implementing lesson plans, providing instruction to meet curriculum and iep goals, and serving as a substitute when necessary. Responsibilities also include supervising children in residential and school settings, escorting them, and providing crisis intervention.

A high school diploma is required along with two years of experience working with children or vulnerable populations, preferably in a school setting with adolescents. Candidates must be able to drive, pass a background check, maintain tci certification, and possess the physical ability to intervene and restrain children in crisis.
