The therapeutic mentor provides positive role modeling for children and youth facing challenges in areas like social skills and behavioral control. Mentors assist youth in identifying strengths and learning/Practicing new, positive ways of interacting with peers and adults in various settings.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in human services, or an associate's degree with one year of experience, or a high school diploma/Ged with two years of experience working with children, youth, and families. Applicants must also be 21 or older and possess a valid driver's license with reliable access to a car.
