Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team for an elementary school in Easton, MD. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students who have diverse learning needs, providing them with the individualized support and instruction they need to thrive. The ideal candidate is collaborative, student-focused, and passionate about inclusive education. You’ll play a critical role in shaping young learners' academic, behavioral, and social development within a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs Adapt and modify general education curriculum to support diverse learners Provide direct instruction and academic interventions in both resource and inclusive classroom settings Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families Track and report student progress using data-driven tools and documentation Support students with behavior plans and use positive behavior supports Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and professional development

Qualifications
