Convenient commute from Florence, Coolidge, Casa Grande, San Tan Valley, and the greater Phoenix/East Valley area. This role is central to supporting the emotional, social, and academic success of a diverse student population through assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, and collaborative planning with teachers, families, and administrators. Key Responsibilities Assessment and Evaluation Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify student strengths and areas of need Interpret assessment results to guide educational planning and intervention strategies Counseling and Intervention Provide individual and group counseling for students facing emotional and behavioral challenges Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans Crisis Intervention Respond to school-based crises with immediate support and intervention Implement crisis management protocols alongside school staff Consultation and Collaboration Advise teachers, administrators, and staff on academic, social, and emotional concerns Support development of behavior intervention plans and a positive, inclusive school culture Data-Informed Practice Use data to guide decisions related to student well-being and academic outcomes Collaborate with staff to analyze trends and implement targeted interventions Parent and Community Engagement Partner with parents and caregivers to address concerns and connect families to resources Participate in community outreach to strengthen student support networks
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology Valid Arizona State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Experience conducting psychological assessments and providing counseling services in a school setting 3+ years of experience preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to educational equity and inclusive practice
