The bcba is responsible for completing behavioral assessments, developing treatment plans, providing family consultations and training, supervising technicians, and delivering direct treatment focused on skill acquisition and reducing maladaptive behaviors. This role also requires completing all necessary documentation, including instructional program development, data analysis, progress reports, and behavior support plans.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess a master's degree or phd with bacb-Approved coursework and current bcba certification in good standing. A minimum of two years of clinical experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or behavior challenges is required, along with a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle access.
