Collections and Metadata Specialist

The specialist maintains the physical and descriptive integrity of library collections by facilitating collection maintenance tasks such as deaccessioning, processing donations, and book repair, while also receiving and cataloging new materials across print and electronic formats. This role involves supervising student employees in technical services workflows, assisting with interlibrary loan and acquisitions, and ensuring materials are properly arranged and preserved for patron accessibility.

Candidates must have a minimum of two years of college and demonstrated experience in detail-Oriented work, along with sound judgment and strong communication skills. Essential physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and move loaded book carts, alongside a commitment to the university's christian mission.
