Preschool Lead Teacher

The preschool teacher is responsible for creating an engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children aged 2–5, planning and implementing daily activities that foster social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. Key duties include ensuring classroom compliance with state regulations, observing and documenting child development, and maintaining professional communication with families.

Candidates must be at least 19 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and must complete specific maryland state department of education (Msde) approved certifications, including the 90-Hour preschool teacher certification and 9-Hour communication course. Current first aid/Cpr and a maryland state background check are mandatory, with college coursework or degrees preferred.
