School Counselor (PT), 2025-26

The school counselor is responsible for providing supporting counseling services individually and in group settings to students, while recognizing and supporting the unique catholic mission of the school through actions and instruction consistent with church teachings. Essential duties include developing creative intervention methods, serving as a resource specialist for staff and parents, and assisting in behavior management strategies.

Candidates must possess a master’s degree and a current, valid florida state guidance counselor certificate or a florida state license as a mental health counselor (Lmhc) or marriage and family therapist (Lmft). Basic qualifications require a strong commitment to the catholic church's mission, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to pass a background check and complete the protecting god's children class.
