Academic Instructor (PRN)

The academic instructor provides instruction in basic education subjects like math, science, social studies, reading, writing, and language arts to help inmates/Students develop responsible citizenship skills. This involves maintaining a positive learning environment, adopting secure classroom management, and developing level-Appropriate lesson plans.

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required, along with possession or eligibility for a florida department of education professional educator's certificate. Preferred qualifications include experience in correctional custody/Law enforcement and three years of classroom instruction experience.
