Summer Day Camp Counselor

The day camp counselor is responsible for providing program leadership for a specific camper group under the supervision of the director, which includes maintaining discipline and remaining with the group at all times. This role also involves assisting with various branch activities, planning and implementing open period activities, maintaining camp equipment, and keeping attendance records.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old and possess evidence of emotional maturity, good moral character, judgment, integrity, and leadership capability, with exposure to small structured groups. Required qualifications include the ability to work within a christian environment, adapt to changing needs, and hold current first aid and cpr certifications.
