Instructor, Writing and Rhetoric (Department of Communication, English and Foreign Languages)

The instructor will be responsible for teaching general education courses, predominantly english composition, using traditional, hybrid, synchronous video, and online formats. Occasional assignments may include teaching principles of communication if the candidate is qualified.

A master’s degree in english, creative writing, rhetoric, journalism, or a closely related field is required, including at least 12 graduate credit hours in english or writing, along with relevant teaching experience. Preferred qualifications include at least two years of college teaching experience in basic writing and/Or communication.
