Lower Elementary Teacher - 26/27 SY - American River

Teachers are responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that integrate montessori philosophy with common core state standards across multiple subjects in a multi-Age classroom setting. Essential functions also include assessing student progress, maintaining accurate records, establishing a positive classroom environment using pbis, communicating with families, and collaborating with colleagues.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and a valid california teaching credential, with a strong preference for applicants who already hold montessori training, although the employer will fund training for hired teachers. Applicants must also have excellent communication, organizational skills, empathy, and patience, and must be authorized to work in the us without sponsorship.
