TK/Kinder Instructional Assistant II - American River

The instructional assistant ii supports teachers by assisting with educational tasks, supervising students, and working with small groups, particularly focusing on tk/Kinder students and supporting the before/After school program. A key objective is working closely with students with special needs to support their academic and personal growth under teacher supervision.

Candidates must possess an associate's degree, 48 college educational units, or the ability to pass a paraprofessional exam, coupled with strong communication, empathy, and patience. Preferred experience includes work with tk/Kinder or in a montessori setting.
