TK/K Teacher - 26/27 SY - Elk Grove

Teachers are responsible for developing and implementing engaging, differentiated lesson plans that integrate montessori philosophy with california common core state standards across multiple subjects. Essential functions also include tracking student progress through assessment, maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment using pbis, communicating with families, and collaborating with colleagues.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and a valid california teaching credential, with specific tk requirements including 24 early childhood education units, one year of relevant experience, or an early childhood permit. While montessori training is preferred, the employer will fund this training for hired teachers.
