Assistant Professor (Education)

The assistant professor will fulfill tenure-Track expectations by teaching 12 credit hours per semester across undergraduate and graduate levels, focusing on areas like special education, core education courses, and engaging all learners. Responsibilities also include fulfilling service expectations within the department, school, university, and profession, alongside fulfilling scholarship expectations.

Candidates must possess an earned doctorate in curriculum and instruction or education (Abd considered if completed by may 2027) and demonstrate expertise in teaching practices supporting all learners, classroom management, and educational psychology. Required expertise also includes one or more areas such as literacy, early childhood education, or educational technology, along with a dedication to inclusive instruction.
