Instructor - Practical Nursing

The instructor is responsible for utilizing the approved curriculum to develop course objectives, organize instruction in classrooms and labs, and ensure students achieve the competencies essential for success in practical nursing. This includes maintaining accurate records, participating in professional growth activities, and ensuring student completion, placement, and retention rates meet accrediting agency standards.

Candidates must be a registered nurse with a current unencumbered louisiana license and possess a minimum of three years of nursing experience, with at least one year as a medical-Surgical hospital staff nurse providing direct patient care. Applicants must also demonstrate proficiency with standard office software and maintain a professional demeanor.
