Job summary
- The Educator I, Parenting & Community Education, delivers the program model and will plan and implement culturally sensitive and effective in-home and community-based parent, family, and community education services, as directed by service recipients, applicable stakeholders and collaborative partners, while ensuring that services provided are in alignment with the Social Determinants of Health through a trauma informed care lens as defined by the agency.

High school diploma or GED equivalency with four (4) years experience in social services or education required.
1. Experience in developing and presenting prevention and education workshops or programs is desirable.
1. Experience in understanding cultural differences and is sensitive to the implications of culture for service delivery.
1. Fluent in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak) desirable.
1. Staff will be required to submit proof of their vaccination status or may request to be exempt from vaccination due to a religious and/or medical accommodation.
1. Certificate or license, as applicable, by the appropriate State agency as a qualified practitioner. Must maintain certification 2. in at least one approved educational curricula required by agency stakeholder.
1. State of Texas vehicle operator’s license and proof of liability insurance.
