Community Counselor (Direct Service Provider) - Longmont

This role involves promoting the health and welfare of participants by engaging in skilled therapeutic interaction, assisting with daily living needs like feeding and hygiene, and facilitating community access and skill-Building. The counselor must also adhere strictly to organizational policies, implement individual treatment plans, and accurately monitor and report necessary data for compliance.

Candidates must demonstrate skill in working with people with developmental disabilities, possess effective communication and problem-Solving abilities, and be able to work independently while traveling in the community. A high school diploma is required, though two years of college are preferred, along with two years of relevant experience.
