Nestled just outside the Great Smoky Mountains, around 30 miles North of Knoxville, in a small, quaint, beautiful town, called Andersonville, sits Norris Academy, a residential treatment facility that offers comprehensive, holistic services to youth with autism spectrum disorders, and/or other neurodevelopmental diagnosis.

Compensation Range

What you’ll do

  • The Case Management Administrative Assistant provides assistance to the designated supervisor and other site employees. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for assisting with the completion of the intake and admissions process for new students.
  • Collects, collates and disseminates admissions documentation, develops and constructs the initial student file and manages and maintains all student files.
  • Tracks and routes Type I and Type II incident reports.
  • Maintains a student master control roster. Daily updates the student roster with the site physical counts.
  • Maintains the student movement logbook and facilitates the site database.
  • Coordinates the monthly case file audit.
  • Documents and disseminates the Treatment Committee and C&P meetings agendas, minutes and follow-up items, if applicable.
  • Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development.
  • Ensure safety, health, and welfare of students and staff at all times.
  • Serve as a positive role model and mentor to staff and students.
  • Maintain professionalism in a structured, high-accountability environment.
  • Remain adaptable to schedule changes, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned.

To be considered, you should

  • Have a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Have at least 2 years of experience working in behavioral health.
  • Have at least 2 years of experience working with youth with autism.
  • Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
