Early Childhood Educators

Educators will be responsible for developing lesson plans, meeting the individual needs of children, and actively engaging in parent communication and staff meetings. They will also design room arrangements to support developmental goals and interact with children to foster play, exploration, and learning.

Qualifications vary by role, requiring an aa/Cda with two years experience or a ba with one year for teachers, 12 post-Secondary credits for assistant teachers, or a high school diploma/Ged for aides. All roles require working with children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, with minimum age requirements specified.
