Teacher Upward Bound

Teachers are responsible for developing and delivering curriculum for upward bound participants in designated subject areas during the six-Week summer instructional component, which includes designing assessments and creating lesson plans. Essential duties also involve assisting participants in achieving success in high school and post-Secondary education while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree and a teaching certificate in their content area, along with 2-3 years of instructional experience in secondary and/Or post-Secondary settings. Required proficiencies include strong organizational skills, effective communication, sensitivity to multicultural environments, and demonstrated knowledge of office technologies.
