Peer Mentor Upward Bound

The peer mentor will provide supervision to upward bound participants during the summer instructional component, focusing on encouraging students, assisting in the classroom or office, and serving as a positive role model. Essential functions include assisting participants in achieving high school and post-Secondary success, mentoring, and supervising student activities in various settings.

Applicants must currently be enrolled in post-Secondary education or have completed an associate's or bachelor's degree, and possess a current oklahoma driver's license. Required skills include discipline-Specific knowledge in math, science, english, or latin, the ability to motivate low-Income/First-Generation students aged 13-19, and strong communication and office technology proficiency.
