Head Start Teacher, Lakeside

This position is responsible for instructing preschool-Aged children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth while developing trusting relationships with children and families. Essential duties include developing and implementing weekly lesson plans, monitoring staff duties, completing compliance paperwork, and conducting regular classroom and playground safety inspections.

Educational requirements vary significantly by level, ranging from a level i childhood development associate credential (Cda) to a level iv master's degree in early childhood education or child development. All candidates must pass a criminal background check, obtain a fingerprint clearance card (Level i), and complete tb testing prior to employment.
