The teacher is responsible for preparing and administering a curriculum or an individualized education plan (Iep) for each student receiving educational services at cares school. This includes planning based on mississippi college and career standards and monitoring iep goals according to schedule.

Candidates must possess a single a teaching license from the state of ms and must obtain an aa 206 emotionally disability license within three years if teaching special education classes. Two academic years of teaching experience and a master’s in special education are preferred.
