Job description
Malcolm House is a 24-hour psychiatric residential treatment facility program that provides short-term residential care for psychiatric/developmentally disabled clients.
Duties
- include but are not limited to:
- Supervise, organize, and support recreational and/or socialization activities
- Play an active role in leading the milieu staff through youth’s structured routine while collaborating with youth’s case manager, clinician, and prescriber
- Engage and interact with youth based on behavioral intervention plans
- Maintain a clean, safe environment
- Observing, documenting, and acknowledging positive behaviors
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma 3 or more years working with youth in a group or behavioral setting.
Bachelor degree in a related social service field with 1 year experience (Psychology, Sociology, Education, Public Health etc.), Psychology preferred. Preference to those interested in enrolling in an MSW program, to achieve growth within the agency.
Must have a valid driver's license.
