Habilitation Voc Specialist (Day Program - Orange NJ) Full-Time

The specialist acts as an advocate for day program consumers, ensuring dignity, respect, and safety while helping determine daily program activities in collaboration with senior staff. Responsibilities include supporting consumer independence through activity participation, assisting with personal needs like hygiene and feeding, and implementing behavior plans as directed.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or ged and possess 1-2 years of successful employment with the same establishment. A valid driver's license with fewer than 4 points is required, and one year of experience supporting adults/Children with developmental disabilities is preferred.
