Day Camp Counselor

Day camp counselors are responsible for orienting and welcoming campers, helping them plan schedules, ensuring they eat, participate in activities, and remain healthy and safe. Essential functions include directing and supervising small groups of campers to foster an inclusive and fun experience while participating in program development.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old or a high school graduate by the start of camp and must obtain first aid/Cpr certification, though the cost will be covered by the employer if needed. Key requirements involve the ability to interact well with youth, demonstrate cultural competency, and meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds.
