Early Head Start Teacher

The early head start teacher develops and implements educational plans for infants and toddlers to foster social-Emotional, physical, and cognitive growth, working collaboratively with a co-Teacher to manage daily classroom operations and ensure legal compliance. Key duties involve guiding child activities, maintaining a safe learning environment, nurturing family partnerships, and accurately documenting child progress through observations and assessments.

Candidates must possess a minimum of an associate degree in child development, early childhood education, or a related field with equivalent coursework, along with experience teaching preschool-Age children and professional proficiency in english. Required qualifications also include demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively, strong organizational and problem-Solving skills, and knowledge of the head start/Early head start program purpose.
