Teacher II

The head start teacher develops and implements educational plans for preschool children to promote growth across social-Emotional, physical, and cognitive domains, while managing the day-To-Day operations of the classroom and ensuring legal compliance. This role involves building strong partnerships with families and maintaining the highest program quality standards, including direct supervision of children.

Candidates must possess a minimum of an associate degree in child development, early childhood education, or a related field with equivalent coursework, along with experience teaching preschool-Age children. Required qualifications also include professional proficiency in english, demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of the head start program purpose.
