Core responsibilities
Interns will provide community-Based services, potentially involving afternoon and evening hours, and may conduct school visits. Supervision will be provided weekly by a licensed certified social worker or licensed certified professional counselor, with additional daily task supervision at offsite placements.
Requirements summary
Applicants must be current students in an accredited master of social work (Msw), master of counseling, or bachelor of social work (Bsw) program, and must be enrolled at an institution with an existing contract with sheppard pratt. Strong foundational knowledge in child/Adolescent mental health theory, clinical reasoning, and evidence-Based practice is necessary.
