The Sumner County YMCA is Now Hiring for Summer Day Camp Counselor s Position Type: Seasonal (Monday - Friday schedule) Pay Range starts at $14 per hour (or more depending on experience)

As a Summer Day Camp Counselor , you’ll lead campers through fun, engaging activities while ensuring their safety, happiness, and growth. 👉 The Essentials
- Minimum
- Age: 18
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
Previous experience or coursework in childcare or recreation is a plus.
Certifications
- New Hire Orientation (before your first shift) CPR Pro, First Aid, and AED (within 30 days of hire) 💪

*NOTE
- This is a seasonal position running from mid-May through early August. The role requires consistent availability Monday–Friday.
- Shifts can be scheduled within the window of 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., but you will work no more than 8.5 hours per day, up to five days per week.
