This role also involves leading coordination for the baby friendly hospital initiative certification process and developing/Teaching educational programs for staff and the community.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess a bachelor of nursing degree along with a minimum of five years of experience in l&d or postpartum nursing, including two years in a leadership or nursing education role within ob specialties. Required certifications include registered nurse (Ca), bls, acls, nrp, and either ibclc or clc, with additional childbirth educator or doula certifications required within six months.
