Early Intervention Teacher Assistant

The assistant is responsible for assessing, teaching, and implementing developmental goals for children with special needs, collaborating with teachers on activity plans, and providing recommendations for curriculum modifications. Key duties also involve working cooperatively with staff on assigned tasks, maintaining records, and communicating professionally with parents daily.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and hold a state of california commission of teacher credentialing assistant permit or higher upon hire. Additional requirements include passing physical exams, tb screening, doj fingerprint clearance, and the ability to lift 25-40 lbs and perform physical classroom activities.
