Volunteer - Camp Sunrise

The volunteer acts as a camp counselor for grieving children and teens (Ages 7-14), providing guidance and facilitating structured therapeutic and recreational activities. Essential functions include creating a safe, nurturing environment that encourages healing, connection, and personal growth while ensuring adherence to all camp rules and safety protocols.

Candidates should ideally have previous volunteer experience and experience working with children, along with strong active listening skills and an energetic, compassionate demeanor. A high school diploma or ged is preferred, but no specific certifications are required for this role.
