Respiratory Therapy Student

The student respiratory therapy tech provides respiratory therapy services to patients within the hospital, administering prescribed treatments using various respiratory equipment and performing procedures like chest physiotherapy and suctioning. Essential duties also include assisting with monitoring, tracheostomy care, reinforcing patient education, performing cpr, and maintaining equipment.

Applicants must currently be enrolled and remain enrolled in a school of respiratory therapy and must have completed at least one semester of the program, along with holding current basic life support (Bls) certification from the american heart association. Selection is competitive and based on meeting minimum requirements, coursework success, application materials, and the interview process.
