Radiographer "Student" Assistant

Under direct supervision, the assistant helps with all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including bedside exams, by supporting technical staff in positioning and immobilizing patients. Responsibilities also include ensuring correct patient identification and safe transportation to and from the department.

Candidates must currently be enrolled in an associate of arts degree program in radiologic technology and have completed at least six months of clinical applications in a hospital setting. Applicants need the knowledge base expected after completing the first year of formal education in an approved radiologic technology school and must possess current cpr certification.
