Long-Term Contract High School Counselor ( Kenowa Hills High School) May 10th - June 5th

The high school counselor will support students in academic achievement, career exploration, postsecondary planning, and social-Emotional development, ensuring they meet graduation requirements and prepare for various post-Graduation pathways. Responsibilities include academic planning, monitoring compliance with michigan merit curriculum, providing individual and group counseling, and coordinating support through frameworks like mtss and section 504.

Candidates must possess a valid michigan school counselor license (Nt endorsement or school counselor license) and demonstrate knowledge of the michigan merit curriculum and high school graduation requirements. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with postsecondary admissions, fafsa, mtss frameworks, section 504 compliance, and experience with restorative practices.
